Why did we agree to go there again? Lets see, we're playing probably the most physical side in world rugby and we decide to go there with a 3rd choice forward pack Rolling Eyes

After the weekend results, things look ominously bad for the Northern hemisphere clubs in the World cup,All Blacks annihalated Europes top team France, whilst Saffies did something similar to England,Australia finally got it's act together(in the second half)against Wales, and look to be heading in the right direction. I forecast,

New Zealand v France.....and .....Australia v England in the semi-finals.

New Zealand v Australia in the final.

Winner????????depends on how unfit New Zealands No 10 is.

England won't get near the semi-finals I'm afraid. New Zealand are obviously out there in front. South Africa can match them physically but don't have the guile in the backs. Australia have the guile in the backs but don't match up physically in the forwards.

Of the European teams France and Ireland are out in front. France have home advantage so might get their act together in time but Ireland look the best bet, especially with Carney added to their back line.

It looks like New Zealand should walk it but they've choked in major tournaments before so who knows. Australia will probably be there or there abouts as they always are. The Boks have enough power up front to get to the semis and if they can find some talent in the backs alongside Habana they could do well. England will be nowhere as our preperation has been shambolic and we don't even have dominance in the forwards to grind victories out with 10 man rugby like we used to.
