Does he really think he could beat fm?...or that fm would even consider a rematch? the working class heroes that he has surrounded himself with are just in it for the money if they don't urge him to quit now. the book on his career has been written. plucky brawler overcame many better foes through graft and heart, but was helpless when put against the best there is. He is a rich man who will never be amongst the very best. no shame in that.

Denial? I think Ricky Hatton is one of the best fighters in the world still and maybe maybe no.1. He lost but only having stepped outside of his weight and with incredible dodgy refereeing. It would have been a completely different story with a proper no local ref and also if Maywhether had dropped down to Hatton's weight division rather than the other way around.

Hatton is a great fighter and possesses an amazing punch power but Mayweather is just class.

I love Hatton but have to admit he was outclassed in the ring as soon as Mayweather stepped in there.

The rematch is partly about Hatton wanting a 2nd chance but it is all about the money Cool
