Capello has asked Wayne Bridge to look under his bed for it. Laughing

Being fair, I think there are plenty of people in the public spotlight who have a few skeletons in the closet.

This is not to excuse Terry's behaviour, afterall it's hardly an isolated incident, but I think it's a little harsh for people to hold people like him up as role models.

I don't really get this fixation with being England captain. It's not like cricket where the captain is a huge position. For me the team should have a whole host of leaders and I can't imagine Terry changing how he is whether he's captain or not.

People are saying the England captain should be a good role model, John Terry proved he isn't one, but is Rio Ferdinand any better?

To be honest, I would rather have someone who cheats on their wife as captain than a past drug user. Saying that, there isn't many people who could be a better role model than Ferdinand. Steven Gerrard couldn't be given it because of his DJ beating antics, and Wayne Rooney had older prostitutes involved with him. Ashley Cole keeps having 'intellectual talks' with strange blonde women so thats him out. Not many angels that youngsters will want to aspire to when they are older. Tough decision for Capello.
