Kendal Ski Club
Kendal Ski Club was founded in 1984 by a group of enthusiastic skiers who built an artificial ski slope on the side of Castle Hill in Kendal that summer. It proved so popular that in 1997 the facility was enlarged and redesigned using a new snow-like material called Snowflex.
